About the host

Quinti believes that a more natural and sustainable viticulture creates a better balance, a symbiosis between man and nature and purer flavors without hiding them under a lot of additives, preservatives or flavourings. That’s why she swears by natural, organic and biodynamic wines.

Quinti worked as a sommelier at Chambre Separee, Kobe Desramaults’ star restaurant in Ghent, before moving back to Portugal where she spent most of her childhood. She immersed herself in the (slowly) growing range of dynamic, lively wines, where the winegrowers show great respect for their vineyards and their relationship with nature in order to put interesting wines on the map that are beautiful representations of the Portuguese terroir, the huge range of different grapes and the realization that Portugal is an incredible wine country!
